Joann, a person of integrity, positivity and reliability.

Two years ago, previous to her time at GLISS, Joann was working the grave shift for a janitorial company. If you have ever worked that shift, you know how straining it can be to push your body to function on a schedule opposite of its natural needs. She loved her coworkers, but was feeling the ultimate burnout. With the end of her contract looming, she was forced to make some quick decisions.

In July of 2019, Joann saw a hiring event at a Goodwill nearby - so she went! This is where our journeys began together. Joann excitedly accepted a position with us, on the spot,, and has been with the same company for TWO YEARS! She left us with this message: 

“I don't know where I would be now if I hadn't gone to that job fair. I'm so grateful to Gliss and Jenna, Natalie, Cindy and the rest of the beautiful ladies that work so hard to find us jobs. Now I have a great paycheck and I am surrounded by more wonderful people that are uplifting go-getters. Better than all of that, I'm simply just genuinely happier now.” 

Saying thank you just isn't enough, thank you so much.” 

We are happier with you on the team as well, Joann. You jumped in head first, and haven’t looked back since.
